• The Neighborhood does not find families on our own. We work through the people who are already there.

If you are a social worker, school counselor, case manager, healthcare worker, faith leader, or nonprofit partner with an established relationship with a family in crisis, you are who we are built to work with.

You have already assessed the situation. You have earned the trust. You know what is needed.

We are not here to second-guess that. We are here to move quickly.

  • It starts with a conversation.

You reach out, tell us what is happening, and explain what is needed. We talk it through and decide whether and how we can help.

No forms. No lengthy process. No delay when the need is clear.

We are most useful when the need is specific and immediate: a utility shutoff, a rent gap, basic supplies, transportation, a short hotel stay, or another urgent need that can keep a family stable.

We are not a substitute for long-term case management. We are what buys time for that work to happen.

  • We work with people and organizations that already have a trusted relationship with the family they are referring, including social workers, case managers, school counselors, nonprofit staff, faith communities, and healthcare workers.

If you are not sure whether the situation fits, reach out anyway. We would rather talk and say no than not hear from you at all.
